Idea for new tattoo

So, this is what I've come up with for an idea for a new tattoo that will signify my connection to Mexico and the Amor missions trip. So, in the middle is the Mexican coat of arms, the words are rather self-explanatory, and there's a cross for every time that I've been to Mexico. Then I can add another cross for each additional time I go. So this is the general idea, it looks a little rigid right now, I'd let the tattoo artist smooth it out and sweeten it up a bit. Feedback yos.

Oh yeah, it's gonna go on my left forearm.

Anna, I said it had to be an awesome post. And no, but I have an explanation for you nay-sayers. Every time I go I take up my cross, to follow Him. Booyah, meaning.

Cool idea, but if you want to have all that script you better have a big-ass forearm or some tiny letters (or write it out test message style: 'we r frd frm d law 2 srv n d sprt, thr-4 srv 1 anthr n luv, sprdng Gd's grce'.

ps-Maybe you could add some skulls and dragons for effect?

*that's 'text' message, not 'test' message.
-oops!

...from an outsider's point of view - you thought about the connotations of "freed from the law to serve the spirit"...? It doesn't sound so much like a service organisation, but more a vigilante group, or some sort of zealotist slogan...

'cause what I read there sounds like the same justifications used by zealots all over - "the law doesn't apply to me, I'm seving God", or "the only law that applies to me is God's"...

The crest and the crosses are great symbolism, though. I'd just rethink the words.

so xavier, or what have you, I have no idea who you are or what your connection is, if any, or even if you'll ever come back to rad this but anywho... I don't really care what you, or anyone else for that matter, perceives my tattoo to mean, no offence to my peeps, because it's sole purpose is to remind me of what I am a part of and what I believe in; which is also why it's on the inside of my forearm, so it faces me. And by the way, these zealots who wage war for God and what not, have no idea who God really is. There's more where that came from. Peace out okay.

And also, I have change the wording around a bit since posting that picture, it now reads

WE ARE FREE FROM THE LAW THAT WE MGHT SERVE BY THE SPIRIT; THEREFOR SERVE ONE ANOTHER IN LOVE SPREADING GOD'S GRACE

And no matter how the first phrase is worded I think the second phrase would cast out any thoughts of zealotism, as long as people are smart enough to understand that love isn't a suicide bomb.
